Alumni and Friends

The Alumni and Friends of the Faculty of Law Association was officially created in 1998 and operates under the guidance of the University of Alberta’s Alumni Association.

The official aim of the Alumni and Friends of the Faculty of Law Association is to “promote the welfare of the University of Alberta in general and the Faculty of Law in particular, by promoting the faculty’s relationship with the alumni and friends of the Faculty of Law, both present and future, worldwide”.

As all U of A Faculty of Law students automatically become members of the Alumni and Friends of the Faculty of Law Association upon their graduation, there is no membership fee.

The association is dedicated to fostering ties between the Faculty of Law, its alumni, and current students through involvement in various projects and coordination of social events.

In 2009, the Alumni and Friends of the Faculty of Law Association celebrated 11 years of formal activity.
