The Faculty of Law is proud of its status as a top-tier Canadian law school.

With a clear focus on continuous improvement, the faculty strives to provide the most up-to-date resources to students as they complete their studies. Keeping pace with rapid technological advances is an expensive but beneficial process. The addition of innovative communication tools enhances both the student learning environment and facilitates the instruction process for our faculty members and sessional instructors.

Faculty members, many of whom are experts in their field, are regularly involved in leading research projects which often require substantial funding. Support for academic programming strengthens the Faculty’s offerings to students, faculty and the legal community at large.

The faculty continues to attract some of the brightest Canadian legal students from Canada, the United States, and abroad. The Faculty of Law acknowledges that many students are in need of financial assistance to pay their tuition. While generous donors have made it possible for the faculty to distribute close to $500,000 worth of scholarships, bursaries, prizes and awards to students every year, there is still a continuing need for funding in this area.

Gifts to the Faculty of Law continue to support these and other initiatives which are critical to the stellar reputation of the Faculty of Law.
